  • Learning agreement.
LEARNING AGREEMENT

Prepare the study programme you will carry out at the University of Valladolid.

Once you have completed your registration and application, the next step is to start preparing your learning agreement, so that you can have it duly completed before the beginning of the enrolment process for your mobility semester.

You must use the learning agreement document provided by your home university.

Once you have the document signed by the academic responsible person for your international mobility at your home university, you can contact the academic responsible person at the UVa for their approval. You will have received their contact information in the message that we will have sent you with information about your international mobility application.

As an international exchange student, you can choose from all the courses taught at the UVa school or faculty to which your mobility is assigned, and you can also include courses from other UVa schools or faculties, provided that the academic responsible persons for your international mobility at both institutions approve it.

If your study programme includes master courses, it must also be approved by the person responsible for the corresponding master’s degree.

You can find information about all the courses taught at the UVa at the website of each faculty or school or at the university website.

Although Spanish is the language of instruction of most of the courses, the UVa also offers courses taught in English:

You can take a maximum of 60 ECTS if your mobility is for a full academic year or 30 ECTS per semester. The minimum number of credits you can take must be established by your home university.

You must take into account that the UVa has campuses in the cities of Valladolid, Palencia, Segovia and Soria. Due to the distance between the different campuses, you will only be able to choose courses that are taught on the Valladolid and Palencia campuses simultaneously, provided that the academic persons responsible for your mobility approve it. All other campus combinations are more than 100 km away.

You must include the full name and code of each course.

You must make sure that the courses you choose are taught in the period in which you are going to carry out your mobility: first semester, second semester or annual.

You must also make sure that the courses you choose have compatible schedules. You can find information about the schedules of each course on the UVa website. In the information about each study plan, in the menu “Asignaturas”, next to each course you will find a link to its schedule. You can also find information about schedules on the websites of each faculty or school.

You should bear in mind that some courses have different groups, with different schedules. Some courses may have several theory groups (T) and several subgroups for different types of activities, laboratories or seminars (A, L or S). As an international mobility student, you can choose the theory groups (T) that best suit you in order to be able to reconcile your schedules. Subgroups (A, L or S) are created at the beginning of each semester.
