The students must indicate the type of accommodation they prefer when they register on line at the web site relint.uva.es/incoming/inicio.asp. Deadline for registration and booking accommodation on line for full academic year and 1st semester students is 30th May. For 2nd semester students it's 30th November.

Accommodation search aided by the International Relations office

If the student wishes to, the University of Valladolid will help in the search of an accommodation. Different kind of accommodations are offered:

  • Individual room in a students flat, sharing kitchen, living room and bathroom. The approximate cost for a room is 200 € a month. Students usually have to pay a one month deposit on arrival.

  • University Residences offer single or double rooms with or without bathroom. The cost is about 300 € per person a month without meals or about 600 € a month including all meals. Payment is made monthly.

  • Accommodation with a Spanish family: including an individual room and all meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) will cost approximately 600 € a month.

The student sho wishes to look for an accomodation single-handedly may browse a comprehensive list of accommodations.


The University has two canteens at the campus of Valladolid:

  • 'Alfonso VIII' University canteen- Paseo Prado de la Magdalena 6, 47011, Valladolid
  • 'El Apartamento' canteen - Camino del Cementerio 22, 47011, Valladolid

Meals costs approximately 6 €.

Most the Faculties and Schools of the University of Valladolid also have their own cafeteria where meals are served.


The Social Affairs Office is a University of Valladolid welfare service. Among other areas it is involved in overcoming any obstacles which may limit access to University for students with disabilities. To achieve this, the Social Affairs Office is promoting activities such as direct support from classmates, through accompanying disabled students, help in the classroom both in physical as well as academic terms, etc.

Technical support is also available upon registration, in the recording of texts for the visually impaired, acquisition of specialised equipment when this is deemed necessary, extended time during examinations, etc.
